The first step to bending aluminium sheet by hand is to find a place where you can work undisturbed. You’ll need some space, because the material needs to be spread out and not stuck on any part of your body. The next thing that you should do is to make sure that your hands are clean and free from any kind of oils or dirt, because then the material will stick only to itself without being affected by anything else.
After that, take a piece of aluminium sheet in your hands and make sure that it has been evenly dusted with talcum powder or any other kind of fine powder so that then no part sticks tightly against another one while you are trying to bend it.
The next step is definitely the most complicated one, but at the same time also very important: take one end of aluminum sheet in both hands at once and try as hard as possible not just to bend this end upwards but even more towards yourself (in my case I faced downwards). As soon as you feel resistance while trying this move, switch sides with your hands so they can meet again at an angle instead. Continue doing this until you manage to create a 90-degree angle between both ends of aluminium sheet together with all its parts sticking together firmly due using talcum powder all over them. If necessary repeat these steps several times until there’s no problem for bending the aluminium sheet anymore, otherwise use different places on each side for making 90-degree angles between both ends in order for them not get stuck together again during further moves. After finishing this move carefully remove all traces of talcum powder from area around 90-degree angle by rubbing it against itself gently using fingers or cloth which should be completely dry afterwards too so there won’t be any chance for getting dirty later on when working with bent aluminum sheets again after cleaning up properly first time around with water and soap solution if necessary after moving locations where 90-degree angle was made before.
Bending aluminium sheet by hand is not difficult at all. If you can bend a paper clip by hand, then you can easily bend aluminium sheet. The only thing you need to do is to hold the piece of aluminium firmly with one hand and use your other hand to bend it.
By the way, if it is a pure aluminum aluminum plate, due to its low hardness and good ductility, it is easy to bend it by hand. However, many aluminum alloy sheets are so hard that they are difficult to bend by hand without sufficient strength.
