5005 Aluminum Sheet Plate Coil
5005 aluminium alloy is an aluminium alloy with good resistance to atmospheric corrosion. It is used in decorative and architectural applications. It is a member of the 5000 series of aluminum-magnesium wrought alloys. As such, it is not used in casting. It can attain moderate to high strength by cold working, and has relatively high welded strength, workability, and corrosion resistance compared to other aluminum alloy families.
The strength of 5005 aluminum plate and strip is equivalent to that of 3003, with good weldability and processability. 5005 aluminum plate is similar to 3003 alloy, with medium strength and good corrosion resistance. The anodic oxide film is brighter than the oxide film on 3003 alloy and consistent with the hue of 6063 alloy
Application scope of 5005 aluminum plate / coil
5005 aluminum plate is commonly used as conductor, cooker, instrument panel, shell and building decoration, interior and exterior decoration materials of building materials, interior decoration materials of vehicles, etc.
5005 aluminum alloy is an AI Mg alloy, containing 0.50% ~ 1.1% magnesium. It has been widely used in the world. It is used for stringing in the extremely hard (H19) state, and its minimum tensile strength (depending on the diameter) is 230 ~ 274 MPa. The tensile strength of 5005 alloy is between 1050A and 6101 alloy, and its conductivity is similar to that of 6101.6201 alloy.
